Frank Luntz Signing On for '08?

Frank Luntz has been Rudy Giuliani's pollster for all of his campaigns -- 1993 and 1997 for Mayor and 2000 for Senate. In a recent Frontline interview, he tells the story of his '93 interview with Giuliani -- and how 85% of it was spent talking about baseball. Luntz is quoted touting Giuliani for President in today's AP piece on Rudy's prolific fundraising for GOP candidates.

"I don't understand people dismissing him. It doesn't make sense," said
Frank Luntz, a Republican pollster who has worked for Giuliani. "A
leader in crisis defines a presidency. What the public saw and
experienced in him on 9-11 set him apart from everybody."
Luntz had left electoral politics, focusing on corporate clients. If Rudy runs, it means we not have seen the last of Frank Luntz.
