Giuliani Files with the FEC

It's official. The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Exploratory Committee, Inc. has filed with the FEC, and now faces fewer restrictions on fundraising and the like.

And donors on both sides of the Great Divide are starting to talk smack. The battle is joined.

So when and how can we contribute our time and money?

I would like to support Giuliani's candidacy, but have so far been unable to find any place to contribute to the exploratory committee.

Apparently, there's been some jostling between McCain and Giuliani supporters over foreign policy. I, for one, am quite interested on knowing Rudy's current Iraq policy. But that's the luxury that he has because until he starts giving media interviews, he doesn't have to articulate one. McCain, as ranking Armed Services Committee member, does. Alas.

Wingsblogger,

Care to give me an actual policy position instead of a soundbite?

Does Rudy want to continue what we've been doing for the past 2 years, not matter what changes on the ground. (Bush's position)

Does he want to see an increase in the number of US troops in the country in order to help hold the place together? (McCain's position)

Does he want our Iraq position conducted more "competently", but generally stay the course? (Hillary's position)

Does he want to partition Iraq into mini Kurdish, Shiite, and Sunni states? (Biden's position)

Does he want to set specific benchmarks and a timetable for the Maliki government to meet in order to decide whether the US should leave? (Dean's position)

Does he want to withdrawl American troops regardless as soon as possible/within 4-6 months? (Murtha and Levin's position)

Is Rudy's position close to any one of these or is it a hybrid? Wanting the "unconditional surrender of our enemies" is something most people would of course want to see. But the strategy in order to achieve that is key here.
