Fox News is reporting that Hizzoner has filed a Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Elections Commission.

Good to see Rudy in. He'll make a great candidate, and a great president.
I am a Conservative Republican who lived in NYC during Giuliani's term as Mayor (1994-2001), and I have to tell all of you Giuliani fans out there that you don't know this guy like us New Yorkers do.
Not only is he a RINO in the John Lindsay tradition, but there are MANY skeletons in his closet.
Unfortunately for him, if Giuliani winds up being the Republican Party nominee for President in 2008, the Democrats are going to rip him to shreds.

As for me, I know that he is a longshot, but right now I'm supporting the only true Conservative Republican who is being mentioned as a candidate for the Republican Party nomination for Presdent... Newt Gingrich!
Giuliani has skeletons in his closet? What about Gingrich? He has just as many if not more! Gingrich didn't follow through with any of his "Contract with America" promises after the first few years. Giuliani is the best candidate, by far. I don't think Hillary has a chance against him.
Giuliani has the ultimate skeleton in his closet, and once it is revealed, he will be finished. Not just as a presidential candidate, but as a politician.
I'm sure that as the race for President gets tighter, someone is going to let the cat out of the bag!
Even if Giuliani beats the odds and becomes the nominee of the Republican Party, do you really think that Hillary Clinton's Campaign (led by the ultimate political dirty trickster Terry McAuliffe) and the DNC (led by Howlin' Howie Dean) are going to let Rudy's secret remain secret?
Don't be lulled into complacency by underestimating Hillary Clinton because she is such a polarizing figure! Giuliani doesn't stand a chance against her!

As for being a "nice, fresh change", nothing could be farther from the truth. Giuliani is a nasty, bitter person who associates with criminals such as Bernard Kerik.

The fact that Giuliani's father was a low level mafia associate has been common knowledge here in New York for years.
I bet that you didn't know that when Giuliani was Mayor, he tried to have all records of his father's criminal past removed from all city archives.
The secret about Giuliani has nothing to do with his father or even his first wife, Regina Peruggi, who happens to be his second cousin.
No, this secret, while probably no big deal in such places as New York and San Francisco, will derail Giuliani's campaign as well as his future in the Republican Party.
By the way, who better to judge Giuliani than the people who know him best... The residents of The City of New York who know him all too well. When he was Mayor, he was in the headlines almost every day for 8 years.
What, besides September 11th, do you out-of-towners know about this guy?
Believe me... this guy is not what he seems. He is a RINO (Republican In Name Only), and he will not support the majority of the Republican Party platform!
The Republican Party would be much better off in the 2008 Presidential Election if Giuliani fails in his bid to win the nomination!
